Enjoy a glass of wine on a sun-soaked vineyard, let the aromas of brisket and ribs tease your senses, and appreciate the beauty of rolling hills filled with colorful wildflowers and crystal waters trickling down the hills, all from this lovely town.

Dining, Entertainment & Shopping

Dripping Springs is surrounded by distilleries, wineries, gourmet restaurants, and shopping opportunities. A trip to Belterra Village will fulfill all your shopping needs, with plenty of local and luxury boutiques. That is also where you’ll find Deep Eddy Vodka, a vibrant tasting room with award-winning spirits. Enjoy your choice of their 10-time-distilled spirits in flavors like original, ruby red grapefruit, peach, and orange.

The scratch-made Neopolitan pizza at the family-owned Pieous Pizza will take your tastebuds on a journey to Italy. The slightly charred crust and gooey marmalade take the pies over the edge, and locals say a side of Pastrami is a can’t-miss. Their pies would pair nicely with one of the local brews from Twisted X Brewing. This rustic tasting room delivers some of Texas’ finest craft brews. Or, you can head to Treaty Oak Distilling, a family- and dog-friendly tasting room that’s also the only brewery, distillery, and winery in Texas.

A trip to the Texas Hill Country Olive Company offers tours of the olive orchards, a tasting room and bistro, and an exceptional array of olive oil products available. Not unlike the wine in the area, these olives are the finest in Texas.

Things to Do

The Texas Hill Country offers an abundance of outdoor recreation with its natural beauty, and as the gateway to the area, Dripping Springs is no exception.

Pedernales Falls State Park is the perfect place to explore the natural beauty and wonder while enjoying the Texas sunshine. With more than 5,000 acres and the Pedernales River flowing through slabs of limestone, you’ll find yourself in awe of this location. West Cave Outdoor Discovery (a wildlife conservation sanctuary), the Hamilton Pool Preserve (a historical and natural swimming hole where reservations are required), and Founders Memorial Park (a public park with playgrounds and amenities) are other great outdoor options in the area.

Reimers Ranch Park is another canyon and forest preserve along the Pedernales River, though this is more for extreme outdoor adventurists. This is an excellent spot for those who love rock climbing with gorgeous views. Families also enjoy the Austin Zoo, a non-profit rescue zoo where you can get up close and personal with the furry creatures.
